What areas do you serve?

We serve all of Virginia and a 60-mile radius of D.C., extending into Maryland. We don’t have travel fees for D.C. or Virginia events. 

What types of events do you specialize in?

We cover any event! While weddings make up the bulk of our work, we're also experienced in corporate parties, private events, proms, homecomings, fashion shows, quinces, Galas, Parades, and more.

Can we choose the music for our event?

Absolutely! Whether you're hands-on or prefer to leave it to us, we'll work with you to curate the perfect playlist and overall vibe for your event.

What kinds of music do you play?

Our extensive library covers all genres and continues to grow with every event — and we'll purchase any songs from your must-play list. We also have access to premium streaming networks for last-minute song requests or unique tracks that aren’t commercially available for download.

What’s your approach to DJing & entertainment?

We're open-format DJs, meaning we mix different genres, styles, and decades. Our approach focuses on matching and enhancing the vibe of YOUR event. However, our DJs follow three principles:
Read the room. We're experts at dialing up the energy or chilling things out when necessary
Keep the music fresh and surprising to keep the dance floor buzzing
Set the tone by engaging the crowd to get everyone involved

What’s your mixing philosophy?

We use quick mixing techniques to maintain a fun, natural flow. This means we know when to transition between tracks, when to switch it up, and when to let a song ride all the way out.

How does the planning process work?

It's simple! After booking, you'll access a planning portal where you'll fill out an event questionnaire. We'll guide you through each section and schedule a final prep call to ensure flawless execution.

Do you offer additional services, such as lighting and photobooths?

Yes! Alongside DJ/Emcee entertainment, we provide uplighting, photo booths, and various enhancements as add-ons.

How does your pricing work? 

Transparent starting prices are listed on our website, with custom proposals available for unique needs. If you have any questions, we’re here to provide clarity.

Can I book a specific DJ for my event?

Upon inquiry, we'll pair you with a DJ based on your preferences. You can set up a call or request a specific DJ if you have one in mind.

When do you arrive to set up for an event?

Our Party Captains always arrive on-site at least 2 hours before the contracted start time. If necessary, we'll arrive even earlier to ensure everything is set up perfectly.

How do you dress for an event?

Our attire depends on your event! While our go-to is a neutral and professional look like a clean black suit, we've got range. Whether it's black tie, cocktail casual, or anything in between, we aim to dress to impress.

Are you insured?

Absolutely. We are fully insured and can provide certificates of insurance upon request from venues.

What are the event site requirements?

Simply put, adequate power and space! No table or linens are necessary. A standard outlet (120 volt, 15 amp circuit) close to the DJ setup is ideal. With our efficient state-of-the-art equipment, power issues are a thing of the past.

How are emergencies handled?

Emergencies are rare but we're always prepared. In the unlikely event of an emergency, we have an on-call system to ensure your event is covered. If we ever have to cancel an event, we guarantee a 100% refund, though that's never happened.

What are the payment terms?

A standard 50% non-refundable reservation fee is due upon signing the agreement, with the remaining balance due 30 days before your event. We accept all major forms of payment.
